Epic Walking Tours provides walking tours in Greenwich Village, New York, to educate, entertain, and inspire the public. Many of the country’s most remarkable heroes and innovators lived, worked, and advocated here. People have come to the Village for centuries to realize their dreams and give voice to causes that matter to them, which is still the case today. These New York City walking tours invite the public to walk in their footsteps and learn their stories.
My name is Andrew, and I will be your tour guide. Born and raised in New York, I was always fascinated by the city’s history and inspired by the trailblazers who took a stand for issues that mattered to them. Their courage, creativity, and persistence inspired my volunteer and nonprofit work with prison inmates, people of color, children, women, immigrants, the houseless, and animals. It also led me to become a writer, researcher, and historian. I created these tours to share incredible stories about people and events, hoping they inspire you, too.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s and doctorate in Educational Leadership. I am a registered and licensed New York City tour guide with a star rating from the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs for ranking in the top tier of tour guides for my knowledge of New York City’s history.
